Laurenti Champagne - Imported by Game of Seasons
Grande Cuvée Rosé
Charms & Seduction This Champagne is born from the blending of the Grande Cuvée Brut and red Pinot Noir wine from vines that are over 50 years old growing on the best of Riceys parcels. The Pinot Noir's dominance gives it a spicy, peppery hint on the nose, with fresh lite apricot aromas. Mouth tingling full of ripe raspberries, and red fruit jam on the perfect piece of toast. Champagne is cellar aged for 3 years..... Hey it takes time for perfection! I love this Champagne so much, with it's lovely unique apricot-salmon color, and perfect bubbles. |

Power & Elegance This is another beautiful pale Champagne also imported by Game of Seasons. This Champagne is a subtle blend of Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) which invites itself to your special moments. The bubbles are silky and is in harmony with its nose which mixes your senses with hints of licorice, violets, and ripe lemon/citron. Demi-sec and is also aged for 3 years. |
Sips and Tips: Champagne
1. Champagne is perfect with Salty dishes! I've even had Champagne pair well with french fries! (Btw= the French say "Frites.")Anything salty, you could basically pair a (demi-sec=which has a little sweetness) Champagne Brut, and would be very happy. Champagne is fun, why not drink it with something you love and Salty?! How about Fish and chips?! Paired with FOIE GRAS is just like a symphony in your mouth??
Give it a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.
2. Champagne Rosé are super amazing to eat with dinner! Not just a beginning or ending with these types of sparkling wines.....there is room for the in between! For example, with Laurenti, I would pair this wonderful Rosé with a hearty Butternut squash lasagne, or a yummy Butternut risotto, with thyme & rosemary.... This Champagne pairing would knock your socks off!
3. Cheese or Caviar will pair perfectly with both, and just take this Champagne to the next level. The level at which Laurenti is use to being.
“Pleasure without Champagne is purely artificial.” – Oscar Wilde
FACT: Can you name 3 main Grapes used in making Champagne?
Most Champagnes, including Rosé wines, are made from a blend of all three grapes, although Blanc de blanc ("white from white") Champagnes are made from 100% Chardonnay and Blanc de noir ("white from black") Champagnes are made solely from Pinot noir, Pinot Meunier or a mix of the two.
